Mail Received as an attachement

a user receives email as an attachment. user is not part of any groups or no moderation has been enabled for user. following mail was received was a test mail sent to the user (user who receives mail as an attachment ). even test mail appears as an attachment.

This is happening for all messages sent to this user?
Have you checked to see if any mail transport rules are set which would account for this?

This is happening for all messages sent to this user? - yes all messages

your second option might be Right , because we had created a second email ID for this user , a transport rule was created to forward mails from first to second ID. second ID has now been discontinued . so I have removed the transport rule. let me wait for it. will update the same if it works.

Agree with what Andy said. Accoridng to test in lab environment, I create a transport rule and send a test email. Then I view the similar email in the moderator mailbox.
