Limit Teams Chat for multi party mediation?

For security and confidentiality reasons we need to ensure that guest users who are parties to a legal mediation can't chat with each other but can privately chat with the organiser.

Is there a way to do this? It's the last hurdle that we have to cross before moving away from Zoom entirely.

Hi Sharon

Thanks for your suggestions but I don't think that Information Barriers will work in this case because we need to restrict our guests from chatting with each other as they may be in strong conflict and direct communications between the parties may be in breach of court orders. As I understand it, guests can only have chat switched on or off.

Any other ideas will be gratefully recieved!

You are right.

It seems no good choice for your situation now.

I created a feedback in Teams UserVoice. You could vote here.

Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service.

Your time, understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.
