To be honest they just don't care about the Linux community. So I wouldn't expect it soon.

nope, after a year of user voting, which has now reached over 5,080 votes, they have closed the same and the community should now vote again separately for the features. I've never seen such a voting for Mac Os, there they just get the same features like they have on Windows.

@DanielGimeno-4457,

We have no such announcement now. You could vote for this feature in this link.

Microsoft team is looking into options to improve the Teams meeting experiences. Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience.

Your time, understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

If Microsoft is always focus on customer's feedback, WHY don't you just implement the missing features and bring the Linux client to the same level as the Windows and Mac OS ones? There was a voting asking for exactly for this topic with over 5,080 votes. But instead of focusing on it, Microsoft just ignored it for more than a year and now asking the community to vote again, that will bring another year without any bigger adjustments for the Linux client. Is that your claim?

You've said you will escalate it 97 days ago. I still don't see any improvments!

It's very simple, free the code, and let the community implement all needed features. And no voting would be needed anymore. That way windows community and other would take advantage of it. Microsoft has done it in the past fo Visual Studio Code tool very succesfully, why dont you repeat it?

We are talking about a very usefull feature, the background hide, all main platforms have it. IT doesnt make any sense.

Kind regards, Daniel

@DanielGimeno-4457,
For stability and security purposes, it's hard to free the code now.
Thanks for your understanding.
