Auditing Hardware Inventory Rules settings

Hi Team,

Just i am looking audit log for hardware inventory setting changes.
Recently in the environment somebody added the new hardware inventory. Just curiosity to know who and when did the changes. may I know what is the Messege ID for hardware inventory.

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

1.Per my experience, we can see audit info for when and who modified the client settings that contains the new added hardware inventory settings:
Status Message Queries > All Status Messages
MessageID = 40301

"User "abc" modified client settings object (ID=<id>)."

2.We can also add the column "Created By", "Date Created", "Date Modified", "Modified By", "Settings ID" in the admin console to see who and when modified the client settings, and also match the Client Settings ID to the ID from the audit message.
