Hi,
I was curious as to why is there a need to run the scripts for hardening required to be executed separately to create the necessary profiles and compliance policies in Intune and not have them offered out of the box?

@RahulJindal-2267 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.
In fact, I didn't find anything about why need to run the scripts to harden. For this issue, I think this feature is used to enhance security. From view of intune, it provides security baselines to help secure and protect your users and devices. Maybe it will also meet the requirement.

Hope the above information will help.
Thanks, but the PAW configuration scripts are not really creating baselines same as MDM security baselines in Intune. They are specific in nature and I still feel should be made available by default.
@RahulJindal-2267 Thanks for your quick response.
For this issue, I didn't have any idea. It is better to create an online support ticket to find if there is someone familiar with it. It is free. Here is the online support link:

Hope we can get the answer.
