Hi All,
Just wondering if it is possible / recommended to run SQL Server 2016 multiple instances with different CU levels across each of the instances?
Cheers in advance

Yes, it is possible, but we do not recommend. You can install multiple SQL 2016 instances with different SP or CU on one server. But we recommend you install the latest SP2 CU17 for SQL 2016. This means that please apply the latest SP2 to SQL 2016, then apply the latest CU17 for SQL 2016 SP2.
For SQL server versions, please refer to SQL Server Versions and Build Numbers.
