WS2012R2 - NTFS permission without deleted files on share store

Hello,

I have a problem with the correct NTFS permission on the shared directory.

I would like to give "modify" permission on the directory without delete, but when I do this user can not save and copy files to the source directory.

In NTFS security on the directory, I try few combinations - I add 2 times the same group:
1. a) Read-only - on this folder only
b) Modify without Delete - on Subfolders and files only
2. a) On this folder only - Read-only with Delete subfolders and files
b) Modify without Delete - on Subfolders and files only
3. a) Modify without Delete but checked Delete subfolders and files - on this folder only
b)Modify without Delete - on subfolders and files only

Hi,
Welcome to ask here!
To understand the issue more clearly, please help confirm the following information.
1, There is a shared folder, you have granted "modify" permission to users, right?
2, Where did you try to copy and save the files to? On the share folder or the subfolders?
3, How did you assign the share permissions on the shared folder? Based on my understanding, when you are using share and NTFS permissions together, the most restrictive permission wins.
