Integrating Calendars with Freelancers (Outlook/Teams)

Hi,

I have a question regarding the calendars of people outside our organization.

We use Microsoft Exchange in our company and are heavily reliant on Teams and Outlook.

However, we also seek the help of freelancers, who are not part of our organization, for some of our tasks.

Is there some way to sync the freelancers' calendars (even if they are not subscribed to Microsoft 365), so that they appear in our Outlook/Teams.

Thank you in advance!

P.S. I apologize if I haven't tagged this post correctly, this is my first question here.

Hi
i am not sure if there can be a general answer. Each mail provider has different capabilities.

Outlook.com
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/share-an-outlook-calendar-with-other-people-353ed2c1-3ec5-449d-8c73-6931a0adab88
Gmail
https://support.google.com/a/users/answer/37082?hl=en

And a share via ics file on a server (so that everyone with the link can access it) should only show availability.
Or maybe a third party tool like https://calendly.com/en/features can be your solution (based on your use cases)

Hi @AF-12345

Do you mean you want to sync the third-party calendar to Teams/Outlook client?

I agree with StephanG, it depends your capabilities for each mail provider. Due to the freelancers' calendars is a third-party calendar which we are not familiar, we could not provide the direct ways to achieve your requirements.

If you want to share the group calendar, you could try to add the website URL(Calendar URL) in Teams channel. For more details, you can refer to:
