OneDrive not syncing since long time on Win 10.

Hi, I have OneDrive installed on my client's server. Client complained that for 2 years local drive is not syncing/uploading the files to OneDrive Cloud. He has subscription for Office 365 and has 1TB on OneDrive Cloud. I've installed Office 2013 and he's got OneDrive from there. I see also OneDrive for Business app at which I can't see that someone is signed in. I'm trying to resolve the problem, I saw couple of articles but I'm scared that if I unchekc option files on demand will delete my new files from the local folder. I don't know, I don't use OneDrive regularly. I'm trying t fix this because I need to backup the files from local folder to external disk and gives some error saying they are read-only and they're on the server as I understood. Thank you.

1.If you want to sync local drive is files to OneDrive Cloud, go to OneDrive settings -> Account tab -> Add the account to sync files.

2.If the files are in the status "Always keep on this device", when you unclick Files On-Demand, they will not be deleted .To know more about Files On-Demand, you could refer this article.

We saw where is the problem, it was syncing not in the right folder, so that's why it does have these old files. So now, I unchecked Files on Demand and I see that it's uploading and downloading at the same time. So newer documents are being uploaded. I will tell my client tomorrow to check his files once again when they're in online folder....
Thank you.
