I have created a huge (55MB) Visio diagram (an extensive aviation systems safety fault tree) that is about 1 metre x 1 metre.
I want to print it on my A2 printer as multiple overlapping A2 sheets.
It works as multiple A4 overlapping sheets (loads of them) but fails when I try A2 it only creates parts (strips) of the image.
My A2 Printer (an EPSON P900) prints A2 from other software without problems it seems to be a limitation when the visio software attempts to "cut" the large image up into A2 parts and not a printer driver or printer related issue. My guess it that it is a visio memory management issue when it tries to split for printing into A2 sized parts.
So I wanted to know if if was possible to export the file into multiple overlapping PDF, JPG or PNG files. The huge chart has many illustrative images which would create a massive single PDF file but perhaps that is the solution since Adode has good "poster" printing capabilities. I managed to export to a 10000x10000 jpg file but I am havingifficulty finding a program that will split it into A2 chunks on printing...
Any help would be appreciated.
Brian
