v2004 downgrades IE to much older version

Ive been upgrading a fleet of Windows 10s to v2004 from v1909 and lost some settings and abilities within IE on the machines that were updated. The build version of IE on v1909 is IE 11.900.18362.0 and the version on v2004 is IE 11.329.19041.0. Thats a lot of build versions to be set back and not sure why that would happen from this upgrade. Is there a way to bring back the 11.900 version because we lost all print functionality of ActiveX sites even after changing the settings back to what they were before. Any help on this would be nice and sadly we do still need IE for some time so this needs to work as it did before. -Thanks

I think there are problems with the Help\About dialog box. Checking the version of iexplore.exe itself tells a different story. To the issue itself I'd ask subject matter experts over here in dedicated forums.

    Hi,

If a new version of IE is installed on your PC and you are experiencing incompatibility issues with an application, please apply the fix below

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Select Tools from the Menu Bar.
    3. Select Compatibility View Settings.
    4. Type wa.gov in the "Add this website" field.
    5. Click "Add."
    6. Make sure that "Display Intranet sites in Compatibility View" is checked.
    7. Click "Close."

Hope above information can help you.
