Whats the best way to implement row level restrictions in MS power BI with an import data model

Whats the best way to implement row level restrictions in MS power BI with an import data model
I basically have a few power BI pro licenses and linked to our 7 different business units. And I would like to restrict data to specific business units based on the licence they use. Eg The department called Risk can only see risk data. The structure is already in place with cost centers I just need to be able to restrict the data. I see RLS is only supported by Direct Query?

@devonCharles, RLS is supported by Import mode as well. you should have businessunit as a column in your database, and you can create new roles in Power BI desktop and assign roles to users based on this businessunit column. You can check below links.
