Intunes Wifi profile

Well,

We are in a shared building and wifi is not provided by ourselves. We can ask the third party to change the wifi password but if we have to change said password we would then have to change on every device in the office.

Brain wave. Create two profiles different names but Same SSID and different passwords. if the connection cannot connect to say profile1 flip over to profile2. Device running fine of profile2 (as configured in profile2 intunes) but we need to change password. Push out new password to profile1 using intunes. when we change the password it should in theory switch to a network it can connect to.

This is what I'm trying to do but not getting much success. So thought I would ask the question will this work with windows 10.

So far if both profiles set to the same password it will connect if not it wont. (early testing maybe missing something)

Any help would be appreciated.

@JohnJohnstone-0936 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, all I can do to help you is give you some information what I already know. Generally, it is not suggested to deploy wifi profiles with the same SSID. It may cause some problems.

Also it is needed to check the configuration settings in the wifi profile and the wifi router. These will affect the actual usage.

Given this situation, it is better to create an online support ticket to handle this issue more effectively. It is free. Here is the online support link。

Hope this issue will be solved as soon as possible.
