Attunity Support - VS 2017 version

Hi Good day,

We are in process of migrating from VS 2012 to VS 2017 , current version of VS 2017 is 'Microsoft Visual Studio Data tools -SSDT 2017 15.9.2'.

The issue is Attunity drivers are not supporting, red mark on Attunity drivers is graded out. I also upgraded to Attunity to 5.0 but still no luck. I saw one of article Attunity support only 15.8.0 or lower version in VS 2017. Does issue is resolved?. Without Attunity data load from oracle to SQL is slow. Please let me know how we can take it forward. Thank you for looking into it.

Hello @DhanaRavi-4496 ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

I also upgraded to Attunity to 5.0 but still no luck.

Did you mean you have installed Microsoft Connector for Oracle vX.X? If not, could you please try to download and install the related Microsoft Connector for Oracle vX.X and check if this works?

Please also kindly check this document: Microsoft connector for Oracle.

Best Regards,
Tianyu

I have installed from that site, SQL Server 2017: Microsoft Connector Version 5.0 for Oracle by Attunity but still no luck. Thanks!

I have cross checked it today. SSDT 2017 15.9.2 developer edition doesn't supporting Attunity drivers, but enterprise version is supporting. But why?. release not happened in developer editon?

Hi @RaviDhanaK-8429 , I checked the Release note of SSDT 15.9.2 but I didn’t see some related message which mentioned developer edition doesn’t support Attunity drivers. And checked the system requirement here, also mentioned Enterprise or Developer edition of SQL Server 2017 Integration Services, so looks like the developer edition should work.
