Hi everyone,

When I try to use Windows authentication, the following message is returned:

"HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Soft1365

In addition to the methods provided by AddWebSolution-0525, you can also try the following methods to solve your problem:

    1. IIS Manager → Sites → Website
    2. Double click "Authentication"
    3. Select Anonymous Authentication
    4. From the Actions panel, select Edit
    5. Select Application pool Identity and click ok

    Hi,

This behavior may occur if the following conditions are true:

-The IIS Web site is part of an IIS application pool.
-The application pool is running under a local account or under a domain user account.
-The Web site is configured to use Integrated Windows authentication only.
