Supported Client platforms for scom 2019 operations console

in many articles is stated that the operations console of scom 2019 can be installed on client platforms,
in the kb article only server OS are listed.
I've installed the operations console on a couple of windows 10 pc but it's impossible to apply update rollups,
the update process just stops without notification.
IS windows 10 supported to host the scom 2019 operations console and updates on not?

cheers

@AVVENIRESPA-6034, From your description, I know we have installed SCOM 2019 operations console on windows 10 client. But when we install the update rollup, it exists without any notification. If there's any misunderstanding, feel free to let us know.

Based on my test, the install process will exist directly when it completes when install the update rollups. Here, we suggest to open the operations console and go to Help-> About to double confirm if the version is changed. We can check the version by referring the following link:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/scom/release-build-versions?view=sc-om-2019

However, if the version is not changed, we can go to the location "%LocalAppData%\SCOM\Logs" to see if there's any error related.

Hope it can help.

Hi @AVVENIRESPA-6034,

The Operations Console can be installed on the following client operating systems:

  • Windows 10

  • Windows 8.1

  • Windows 8

  • Windows 7

The official documentation appears to have this information missing, as it can only be found for older SCOM versions on the documentation pages.
