My Linux installation of Teams just popped up a "Congratulations, you now have the latest version!" notification. Or something along those lines.
As the version of the program has not changed (it's still 1.4.00.7556), I assume something new was rolled out on the server side. Clicking the notification just makes it disappear.
How do I find out what has changed? Or is this some guessing game that you want me to play? Are there prizes for working it out?
Seriously Microsoft, if you are going to display a notification like this, the least you can do is have the notification take me to a web page where I can see what is included in the "latest version". Without any information to go with the notification, it amounts to nothing more than noise. As there are so many features still missing from the Linux version of Teams, it really would be useful to know if the the "latest version" includes any of those missing features.
