MS Teams Meeting Failed between boss and PA

hello Team

am facing the issue where PA is trying to create a teams meeting from the BOSS calendar (Onprem user1)

We have hybrid environment, and both the malboxes are available on exchnage 2016 mailbox

Onprem user 1 gave a mailbox calendar delegation access Onprem user 2
• Onprem user 2 can able to access the calendar of On-prem user 1
• However when on-prem user 2 create a MS Teams meeting from the on-prem user1 calendar , He/she got the below “ MICROSOFT TEAMS , Sorry but we can’t connect to the server right now. Please Try again later”.

i had followed the below link and still not working

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/deploy/integrate-with-exchange-server/oauth-with-online-and-on-premises

Hi @Ramki-5805 ,

What is the current CU version of Exchange 2016?
Does both the users are synced to Azure Active directory using AD Connect?
Are Teams license assigned to both the users?
Is the original user able to create teams meeting?
Are Autodiscover and EWS published externally?
Is Exchange Hybrid Deployment feature in Azure AD Connect is set?

Hi @Ramki-5805 ,

Good that all configuration are in place. But I believe you mentioned autodiscover is pointed to Exchange online, ideally in a hybrid setup with on prem mailboxes, autodiscover should be pointed to onpremise. Once done, make sure to complete the configuration as per below,

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/deploy/integrate-with-exchange-server/oauth-with-online-and-on-premises
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/exchange-teams-interact#requirements-to-create-and-view-meetings-for-mailboxes-hosted-on-premises

@Ramki-5805

Agree with AshokM-8240, in hybrid mode, autodiscover should be pointed to on-premise, you could check if you meet its requirement.

Hi @Ramki-5805

Do you mean you want to delegate for someone to schedule Teams meeting?

To enable the calendar delegation for these users:

1) The Teams Scheduling add-in for Outlook requires Exchange 2013 CU19 or later when scheduling a meeting on behalf of someone else. This is to support the unauthenticated discovery of the mailbox by our service to check delegate permissions against the delegator mailbox.

2)You must also complete steps as described in Configure Integration and OAuth between Skype for Business Online and Exchange Server;

@JimmyYang-MSFT : I belive, there is fault in Autodiscover where its pointing to Exchange online in external DNS

i think i should correct it to pointing to on-prem exchange server and then to configure Integration and OAuth between Skype for Business Online and Exchange Server;
