Default browser Chrome

We tried a few things to make Google Chrome default browser for the users that are in our RDS environment. Maybe is a bad idea totally but I figure that once we find how to do Chrome, we can easy revert back to any browsers.
We tried from using the Chrome GPO to assign the xml at the login screen but not go .
Is there an easier way to achieve this ? Maybe a simple script that I can assign to a GPO that apply to the group ?

Hi Leila

Seems like I was on the right path here but the part that I did not do is the actual restart of the server.
I just did force on the gp.

At the same time, I did not have the latest admx policies that show the file explorer. So I will have to get that installed also and add it to the central repository.
will post update but not this week

It works as per the articles but it tool me hrs and hrs to figure it out still why the GPO was not applying.
I had to deconstruct take the DC and TS offline and deconstruct setting by setting.

It turned out that there was a conflicting GPO set by ... who knows who ... that was making the GPO and others not apply.
The setting within the GPO was "configure user group policy loopback processing mode" and was set to replace. All this was forcing the setting defined in the Computer GPO to replace the user.

I changed that GPO to merge, it worked, but some GPO that were applied to computers and users , now they were showing twice.

I ended up removing the setting and set it to "Not Configured" and all looks good on my offline testing platform.

I fail to understand why this setting was there even in the first place. Will have to pole around more just to make sure I am not breaking anything else.
