outlook hyperlinks issue

Hello Microsoft community,

I'm trying to send different links to my customers and they are coming out broken..
Not only from Zoom App but also from Chrome and many others..
Repairing Office APP had no effect.

It happens with Outlook 365 and Outlook 2016 STD On Win10 Pro 20H2 (No errors occurring just broken links)
Please advise with an solution.

Hi @QmarkIT-8411,

Welcome to our forum.

Not only from Zoom App but also from Chrome and many others..

I noticed the issue occurred on all links form web, is it right? If so, in order to further confirm if your issueis related to your account or client, it's suggested to copy and paste any links in your web mail to check if the link could work normally there.

If it could work normally in your web mail, the issue may be related to your client itself. So what's the version of your Outlook client(File>Office account>About Outlook), please first ensure that you have updated to the latest version of Outlook client.

Also, considering any anti-virus programs and third-party add-ins may affect it, it's suggested to close other programs and restart your Outlook in safe mode to check if the issue has any difference(windows + R > type "Outlook.exe /safe" > enter).

If that's invalid, based on my research, I have found a similar thread that mentioned many workarounds for it(such as update your browser , zoom and other ways), please kindly check if it could also work for you.

Copy&Paste links manually works fine.

The Outlook clients are updated to the latest version both Outlook 2016 STD and 365

Running Outlook in safe mode doesn't help.

Everything is Updated..
Also tried to Reset the Explorer browser + Chrome with no effect..

Had to test one of the work arounds and pressing SpaceBar in the end of the links helps with short URLs

Thanks for your update,

I have tried to schedule a zoom meeting via zoom for Outlook add-in on my Outlook 365, but it could work normally there like below:

Considering we usually share the link via copy and paste it directly in Outlook and it could work normally in your case, so on which links did your issue occur(on those automatically created Zoom related links only)? if so, it may be more related to the zoom instead of Outlook client. As a suggestion, if you create the zoom meeting via zoom plugin, as a suggestion, it's recommended to work with zoom for outlook add-ins to check.

If that's not your case, please provide us with more information about your issues.
