Attendance report featuring attendees joining main meeting after leaving breakout rooms

Question

Bearing proof of my students' attendance to a class meeting is vital to my activity. MS Teams attendance reports will feature the participants before their breakout rooms are opened, but once my students are pushed into breakout rooms, they will be considered to have left the meeting.

It is not of much importance that breakout room attendance isn't available on the main meeting chat, on account that I can download a specific breakout room attendance report under Activity on Teams main menu, but I really miss being able to report on the attendance occurring after participants return to the main meeting.

We did a test in our environment and it seems by design. When one user be assigned to breakout room, it will leave the main meeting room, so in main meeting room, the attendance report list will see the leave status in Teams.
