Direct Access with Windows Hello for Business

Does Direct Access support Windows Hello for Business? We read everywhere that you probably need Always on VPN (but we still have direct Access).

We did succesfully implement Windows Hello for Business and it's working without DA, but as soon as we enable DA on that specific client machine, it doesn't even let you pass the pin screen and directly gives the error that the authentication method is unavailable.
Implementing SmartCard authentication in Direct Access doesn't seem to be a solution because it seems you must enable OTP within DirectAccess and still doesn't look compatible with Windows Hello for Business.

And if Direct Access doesn't support Windows Hello for Business, are there (non-supported?) workarounds?

Thanks in advance!

Hi ,
As far as I know, Direct Access doesn't support Windows Hello for Business. Microsoft just introduce and improve the integration capabilities of Windows Hello for Business in Always On VPN.
