Are there any more error logs that you see in the popup notifications?

The documentation says that the unexpected errors can occur for these reasons:

  • Creating an Asset or Job fails because the Media Services account's service quota information is temporarily unavailable.

  • Creating an Asset or IngestManifest blob storage container fails because the account's storage account information is temporarily unavailable.

More information about quotas here.

You may also need to verify that you have full access to the Media Services account. For this, you can use an account that has the built-in Owner or Contributor roles assigned to it.

This one would be tough to trace down over forum. If possible, please file a support ticket in the portal directly so that you can get a support engineer to look at your subscription ID and account logs for any related issues.

Thanks,
John

One more item to check - you should make sure that you have the proper permissions to view content keys on that account. Your user account may not be in the right permission group for the Media Services account to be able to list content keys - which require higher privelege or role type to access.

We have several built-in policy types.

The account administrator has all access:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control/built-in-roles#media-services-account-administrator

The policy administrator can list and create content keys in the account:
