Content Organizer routing may get delayed in SharePoint Online? true or false?

I personally have not experienced any delay in Content Organizer routing, but I read / heard about the routing can be delayed in SharePoint Online due to timer job not running.

Just wanted to clarify - I do not use IM policy >Retention Range for routing, simply using content organizer alone, could that be delayed in processing the routing?

Which time job is responsible for Content Organizer routing without using IM policy?

Hi @YiruChen-1261 ,

I'm glad to meet with you again.

According to my search and research, there is no official document mentioning the issue of Content Organizer routing delay in SharePoint Online.

It is processed by the timer job "Content Organizer Processing Timer Job"

From my point of view, theContent Organizer routing delay may be related to the current network performance, the size of the document library, the number of documents, etc.

Thanks,
Echo Du
