Outlook Calendar invites being forwarded to gmail, results in organizer getting multiple notifications.

We use On Prem Exchange 2016. When a user creates a calendar event to multiple internal users, a user forwards the event to their GMail account, the Organizer (also an internal user) gets flooded with notifications from this single event.

One user forwards it to their gmail account. Instead of being notified ONE time, the organizer is barraged with multiple notifications of the single forward event.99847-barragenotification.png

Hi @BlueSkyDarren-1519

Can you reproduce this issue by creating a new meeting and forwarding the meeting event to another recipient (instead of gmail) via OWA?
If the issue persists, the cause may be with the Exchange server.

Here is a case in the similar situation:

I would consider deleting forwarding notifications.

But curious. Is this a recurring meeting or single one-time meeting.
