Can Windows Defender ATP be manipulated with the registry?

We are going with E5's and will deploy Defender AT. We use group policy, though we have a lot of remote users that rarely VPN in. We have Manage Engine Desktop Central as our RMM and can easily push scripts and make registry changes.. I know some of the Defender settings can easily be changed using the registry, but I am not finding the registry location of the specific ATP group policy template that comes with the ATP installer. Anyone know if this is possible or supported? Or will we just need to coordinate users to VPN in so they can get the GPO applied? Thanks

Hello @BrentMattson-8239,

Thank you for posting here.

Q&A currently supports the products listed over here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

Windows Defender ATP is not within the scope of the MICROSOFT Q&A platform for the time being.

We can search many tags and add the tags, but for some topics, there is no technical engineer from Microsoft team to provide support.

Maybe some experts from Community Expert or MVP can provide some help to you in this thread.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

Best Regards,
