MDM - what components are on windows 10 devices

Hello

We know that the MDM windows agent is a built-in component on Windows devices like on the link below:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/mdm/

But what are the MDM components are on the windows 10 exactly ?

Files anywhere? .dll? Components? WMI classes of MDM ? API library?

And what about Intune Management extension with MDM agent ?

None of these details are explicitly publicly documented to my knowledge. What challenges are you attempting to address?

The IME is not actually part of the built-in MDM stack though. It is a separate component deployed by Intune to Windows devices using an MSI and runs a service within Windows.

Sorry, I don't understand the question. Do you mean what is the "purpose" of the IME? If so, then it is an additional agent deployed by Intune that supplements built-in MDM functionality. It provides a framework that Intune uses to deploy Win32 apps and PowerShell scripts.
