Microsoft Teams company account annot login

Hi,

I can login to Teams using my personal email. However when I tried to use company email, it says
"You're missing out! Ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams for xxx.com.
You're currently signed in as abc@xxx.com, select Sign up for Teams to continue, or use a different account."

The background is, another company with email domain "yyy.com" has Microsoft 365 license, and they opened an external account and granted Teams Guest Access for me, to connect with their internal users.

My own company domain is "xxx.com" and my company do not have any Microsoft license.

I can login to Microsoft 365, with two organizations to choose. One is yyy company and one is my own company domain.

Please let me know who should I contact in this case, yyy company IT or my own company IT? What is the issue about and how should I describe the issue to IT admin? Thanks very much.

Hi @AllenShao-2426

Does your company account have any relationships with yyy company account?

According to your description, it seems you are using the yyy company's account to login Microsoft Teams, right? If so, you could contact with yyy company IT and provide the sign-in error message to them.

In addition, you could try to login Teams web client in a new private windows to see if this issue can be reproduced.

Tried private window but did not work.

The email domain is xxx company, but I am not sure what do you mean by "using yyy company's account". From my understanding it is a guest account created by yyy company.

I asked yyy companies' IT and provided the error message. But they said they already opened the teams account for me and the error message says:
Ask your admin to enable Microsoft Teams for xxx.com. So I should contact xxx company.

Thanks for your clarification. So can we understand your own account is not be added to YYY company's organization, right?

If so, please ask the YYY company to add your account (email domain is xxx) as a guest. For more details about how to add guest, you can learn it from:
