I managed to get the portal installed. It works on both http and https.
Two questions:
Is there a way to disable access to http?
I am only able to see the reports when using http, and not https?

Point 2 - This has been resolved - I have to use IE to see the report as there is a warning on the bottom of the screen. Will check Edge next.

For the first question, we may try to remove the Port 80 entry in IIS, which can disable access to HTTP.
We can enter the IIS Manager and right-click the web site that is installed the MBAM web application (by default, it use the IIS Default web site).
Then choose Edit Bindings to remove the Port 80.

Hi, hope things are going well. I am writing to see if there's any update on our issue. If yes, feel free to let us know.
For 1. question, consider to control the access with AD groups which are specified during mbam installation to get access to the web site.
