unified group calendar

Hi All

I have an office 365 unified group . The group has 10 members and what i understand is that these members by default will have calendar access to it.
Now i have another 20 users who are not the members of this unified group, but i want to provide them calendar access. is it possible to provide calendar access to these 20 users who are not the members of the unified group. I would like to create an onprem AD group and provide calendar access to the unified group, is it possible, if so please help me with the syntax.

Hi @RogerRoger-2394 ,

Could you please let me know the version of SharePoint you are using? Does this calendar refer to the calendar list?

If you have already created a group in AD, then you only need to add this AD group in the List settings:

If your users already exist in AD and are not in a unified group, then you can also consider creating a SharePoint group, however it may only be used in this site.

For more information please refer to:
SharePoint site permissions

================Update1=====================

It is the same in SPO, if the user is not in one group, then you can directly set permissions in the list settings:

i am not sure what mistake i am making, when i login to team site and click on library settings.
click Permissions for this document library, stopped inheriting permissions after that I don't see calendar permissions

Hi @RogerRoger-2394 , if you want to set different permissions for users in Calendar, you should go to Calendar list settings and follow the above steps. If you set it in the Document library, you can only set the permissions of this document library instead of the permissions of other lists. :)
