Read smsts.log duing OSD

Question

Hello,

I wanted to see the smsts.log when the OSD is in progress in a computer
I get Request Time Out when ping the computer during the OSD in progress
I can connect the computer in network like \Computer-A\C$ after the OSD completed

I think smsts.log can be read after the computer joined to domain during the OSD progress. Please let me know how can read the logs when the OSD in progress from network like \Computer-A\C$

One option is to add a task to copy it up to a network share so that you can review it offline after OSD is completed. If you really want to connect during OSD you'll probably need to disable Windows Firewall, but that's a bit of a security issue as you device won't be fully configured and secured yet while you opening up RPC.
