Azure NetApp Files Capacity Pool Sizes

I wanted to know if you setup a capacity pool for Azure NetApp Files at 8 TB (for use with FSLogix User Profiles) and find out down the road that you didn’t provide enough space, can you dynamically add to the size of the pool or do you need to setup a separate capacity pool?

If you need to setup a separate one, what is the best process to migrate existing profiles to new space?

Finally, would it be recommended to setup a new, larger capacity pool and migrate all the profiles to it or would it be better to create a second capacity pool of similar size and migrate some of the profiles over to it?

    HI

1.can you dynamically add to the size of the pool or do you need to setup a separate capacity pool?
yes, we can dynamically add to the size of the pool, but resizing the capacity pool changes the purchased Azure NetApp Files capacity.

Resize the capacity pool using the Azure portal

2.Can you dynamically add to the size of the pool?
There is ANFCapacityManager. It is an Azure Logic App that manages capacity-based alert rules. It automatically increases volume sizes to prevent your Azure NetApp Files volumes from running out of space.
What changing to volume hard quota means for your Azure NetApp Files service
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-netapp-files/volume-hard-quota-guidelines

3."Finally, would it be recommended to setup a new, larger capacity pool and migrate all the profiles to it"
"In the case of automatic QoS volumes, if you are considering assigning volume quota amounts beyond 70.31 TiB, additional quota may be assigned to a volume for storing additional data. However, the added quota will not result in a further increase in actual throughput."
since your azure netapp file is smaller than 70.31 TiB, so setuping a new, larger capacity pool and migrate all the profiles to it is better.
