Mechanism to provide individual members(patients) access to their respective FHIR resources only

Hi All,

Please provide information on do we provide individual patients access to their FHIR resources only In Azure API for FHIR.

Please suggest possible ways to do it.

Hi @PoojaBorade-1490, thanks for your patience.

As per the product group, right now we do not support fine-grain access control in the Azure API for FHIR.

However you can look into below link and check if it helps:

Hi,

We read about CMS Interoperability and Patient Access rule. Can you please provide more information on same. Using this feature how to grant access to individual Patients.

Right now the Azure API for FHIR does not have fine-grain access control. Please feel free to take a look at the open-source FHIR Proxy which has some items around this: https://github.com/microsoft/fhir-proxy
