Hi Leon - I tried this but the file available is for Windows 8.1 and not 2012R2.
The update is also available for Windows Server 2012 R2, see the marked area in the screenshot below:

Click on the Download button beside it and you'll be redirected to a separate download window with the update package:

Hi Leon - Thanks - Both the files are same and have tried it. When I install it , I get an error that OS is not compatible.
Do i need to install any earlier packages?
Cheers,
J

Hi Sunny - on that link, the file available is for Windows 8.1 and not 2012R2. All the download links have same file uploaded on the portal. I am looking for a specific file related to the 2012R2 server.
Cheers,
J
It’s not, most Windows Server 2012 R2 updates are marked as ”Windows8.1-kb…….” because Windows Server 2012 R2 is basically Windows 8.1 under the hood.
Try it and you’ll see.
If so, I'm afraid you need download the required patch from some third-party side. Hope others could share their experience or knowledge here.
