DR with Azure site recovery with Fortigate as NVA

Hi,

my active HUB site on azure has NVA (FortiGate) configured all internal traffic use this NVA to go out and on-prem sites connect to this azure via VPN, I have enabled DR site with Azure site recovery and that has created a new Resource Group but the problem here is I cannot add Fortigate to this asr Resource group as to install NVA (FortiGate) resource group should be empty is there a way to have this Fortigate configured or any docs that could help?

@AbdulMOiz-2005 Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

I understand that you are unable to add the Fortigate to the exisiting ASR Resource Group as it says that the RG should be emtpy to add the Fortigate to it. I would recommend you to reach out to Fortigate support regarding this and check with them regarding the right way to deploy the NVA in a RG with existing resources. This is something that Fortigate should assist you with.

Please let us know if you have any further questions and we will be glad to assist you further. Thank you!
