Hi Guys,
Our SCOM constantly generates this alert. we looked at the DNS log and doesnt seem to be anything out of ordinary.
SCOM opens and close the alert after 5 minutes.
there is no override set for this alert.
any pointers would be helpful.

Hi @SaravananBalasubramanian-1640,
Here's a similar thread about this issue although there are no resolutions for this:
SCOM generates constant Windows DNS 2016 - Server Query Overload alerts
There also is a uservoice request about this/similar issue for this so it might be an issue within the management pack:
https://systemcenterom.uservoice.com/forums/293064-general-operations-manager-feedback/suggestions/37340245-false-zone-query-overload-alerts-from-dns-manage
If you are 100% sure nothing is wrong and have double checked logs and such then you could create overrides for this.
(If the reply was helpful please don't forget to upvote and/or accept as answer, thank you)
Best regards,
Leon
You may review the DNS performance of "Windows DNS Server 2016 and 1709+ Number Of Queries Performance Collection Rule" and find out number of Queries received and determine the optimum value.
there is no override set for this alert.
Also check your user role. You must have Advanced Operator user rights to create and edit overrides.
