Well, everything is the subject. CHKDSK halts at step 3 without any error message and returns to command prompt.
Bitlocker is on (it's an Intel i7).
DISM /online refuses to start because of the /online param.
What now?

Hi
Have you updated over 10 days?
If the update has occured within 10 days , we could go back to the previous version of windows 10 in settings.
The previous version will be prepared and we could try the above steps again.

Going to Settings from a blue screen (non bootable device)? Tell me how and we'll make millions!
Just checking if there's any progress or updates?

Tried everything (chkdsk/sfc/dism restorehealth, etc), I have more than 30 years experience with Windows.
Luckily everything was on my Onedrive's, so I reinstalled AND activated system restore which was NOT activated by default (come on MS!) and disabled that bitlocker thing.
Thank your for sharing your solution about solving the problem.
It will be very beneficial for other community members who have similar questions.
Have a nice day.
