Visual studio sign in fails

When I open visual studio and open a solution, it brings up a sign in page. I enter my credentials. After a few pop-ups, it seems to fail, though there are no messages. Just a "!" icon near my account.

It also says the "This product is licensed to: "..."
This email does not match my account. It is an old email. I don't know if this is the issue, but how do I change the license email?

Hi @JimLaudolff-7675 ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Please have a try with the following workarounds:
1. Update your VS 2017 to the latest version
2. Try to sign in to your Visual Studio with a different account
3. Clear cache and cookies on the browser(IE)
4. Close all instances of Visual Studio
5. Delete all files of %localappdata%.Identityservice
6. Relaunch your Visual Studio and sign in your account

Meanwhile, if you encounter any problems while signing in, you could go to the Subscription support page to get help.

Sincerely,
Anna

After posting, I realized I had two installations of VS2017. I uninstalled both and then reinstalled and now do not have this conflict.

Thanks for the reply.
