Help choosing an Instance Type?

I can't figure out which instance type I need for my vm. This are the requirements:

Operating system: Ubuntu x64
CPU: 2 Cores (2GHz +)
Memory: 8GB RAM
Storage: 50 GB
Broadband: 10 Mbps +

For what reason do I need a temporary storage? I only need a storage. The price calculator is so confusing ...

Hello @BernhardSumser-1141 ,
Thanks for your query !
Take a look at the VM Sizes:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/sizes

For your requirement you can use any of the below SKUs:
D2sv3 , B2ms, D2dsv4, D2sv4 , B2ms, D2sv3, DC2sv2 , D2v3 , D2v4 , D2dv4

Temporary storage is used for the paging file of the running VM. Using local storage on the physical host helps to increase IOPS and lower latency when compared to standard Azure storage.

Take a look at the detailed explanation in the usage of temporary Storage :

Couple of FAQs w.r.t Temporary Storage and If you don't need temporary storage , more information w.r.t Temporary storage and how it works:
