Creating a 2nd user account for a VM I created with a Free Azure account?

I signed up for a free Azure account. I will be creating either a Windows or Linux VM there to run some programs 24x7.

I want another friend of mine also to be able to run these.

Is it possible to create a separate login for him on the VM? I would like him to be able to do everything on the VM but he shouldn't be able to see the credit card name/info I used to sign up for the free account etc? Is this possible?

Hello @SK84-9080,

Welcome to the MS Q&A forum.

I don't see any issues why you can't create the separate login for the second user and allow him to login to the VM. As example, just share the public ip address of the VM and use the RDP client to connect from your local machine.

PS: Just keep in mind there is the limit imposed by Windows Server on remote administration, you can only have 2 administrators connecting to a server to manage it at once.
