Uninstall Microsoft Web Platform PHP IIS Drivers (TWO OF THEM)

Hello everyone!

I'm running Windows Server 2012 R2.

I need instructions on how to uninstall "Microsoft Drivers 5.2 (x64) for PHP v7.2 for SQL" and "Microsoft Drivers 5.2 (x86) for PHP v7.2 for SQL" after they were installed by the Microsoft Web Platform Installer.

I'm in a scenario where they did not install properly, but there doesn't appear to be an uninstall function anywhere - including via control panel.

Is there a manual uninstall process?

Regards,
Enterfrize

Hi All!

Good news on this front. It was unnecessary to do an un-installation of the files. The reason I was getting an error is because when I was running the PHPINFO command, it was looking at the HTTP output instead of the HTTPS (my server forces HTTPS). All I had to do was be a little more picky on which output to look for. So the error had nothing to do with the 7.2 PHP drivers.

Thank you for your assistance!

Hi,

Thanks for posting on our forum!

Firstly, check if you use an appropriate version of Microsoft SQL files for PHP. For PHP 7.2 you have to use 7.2 version of MS PHP SQL. See articles:

Secondly, since your issue is related to iis which is out of the scope of our forum. If the above solution is not what you are looking for and you may need specialists in this field, you can post your issue on our IIS forum and the support engineers there will contact you as soon as possible:

Thanks for your understanding! And I would appreciate it if you could help me Accept Answer to support my work! : )
