Hi fellow technicians,
I'm having trouble with an existing server when trying to install .NET Framework, it stops with the error the Component Store has been corrupted.
The Server has internet access and should be able to access the installation resources.
Using the offline installer doesn't work either.
sfc /scannow shows errors but can't fix them.
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth also fails and prompts it is unable to access the necessary resources.
I also used a Windows WIM file with the correct index to use as source but this still gives the same error.
DISM /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup runs successfully but doesn't solve the issue.
I've uninstalled the Antivirus software and entirely removed WSUS and gave the Server direct access to download updates.
I'm running out of options, does anyone have a clue?
Best regards,
Tim
