my fingerprint doesn't work few days ago, it also barely work. When one day, I go to my settings it says there's no fingerprint compatible with it even tho the fingerprint scanner is build in with the laptop. When I check on device manager, there's no biometric device show up, after installing new fingerprint driver, its still doesnt show up

Hello there,

As far as my research, there are many possible causes for that issue.
Firstly you shall go to BIOS to see if your biometric device can be identified.
If so> It’s a system issue we can deal with
If not> It’s a hardware issue, please contact your manufacturer for repairing

In case it’s a system issue
I suggest you to use System Restore, recovering from an early point, to undo system changes that may be causing issues. This is the most direct and powerful way.
