We can certainly use SharePoint Online on our smart phones.
If you have an Microsoft 365 subscription that includes SharePoint, you can use your device to view information on sites, collaborate with colleagues, access shared documents, and stay connected with your work using your mobile device. With the SharePoint mobile apps, SharePoint is even more available on devices than before.

You can download and use the SharePoint mobile apps to connect to your SharePoint site, rather than your browser. For more information, you could refer to:
