Hi @ManasDash-0292,

Yes you can perform backups of remote server(s), but they will need the Windows Server Backup feature installed.
You can store backups either locally or remotely (for example on a share).

Here's also a similar old TechNet forum thread:
Can you manage or backup remote servers?

Hello,

If the computers have network connectivity (like via bridge or VPN) you can take a backup but keep in mind that using Windows backup over a slow link will not only take along time, but it may fail if there is any packet loss during the backup process. If the backup is large enough over a slow link, jobs may overlap. What are you trying to achieve, a low cost off-site backups?

If so, there are several backup programs that will back up off-site at relatively low cost and there are also several NAS devices and open source software that will mirror each other. You can back up to Dev A on-site and let it replicate to Dev B off site. Unlike WIndows backup, these devices will not need to start over if there is an interruption in the link. Look at FreeNAS and others.
