SharePoint 2019 On Premise <Send to Other Location>

Hi there,

When I use the SharePoint 2019 On Premise <Send to Other Location> in the Document Library, I got the following error message:

Could not find the destination item or folder on this server

Does anyone have any idea on it?

Thanks

Hi,@SHUOH-8693

Please check as following:
1.Make sure we send document from one library to another at the same web application.
2.Enter the correct library url when using <send to>

For example:if you want to send the file to the library ‘test’,you could enter the URL as it shows:

If you just want to copy files to other libraries, you could also try the following method:

1.Select content and structure in site settings, choose the document you want to copy:

2.Click copy in the action ribbon:

3.Select the target library you want to copy to:

Note: If you don’t see content and structure, please activate Site collection features> Office SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure and Site Feature (on the specific site) - Office SharePoint Server Publishing.

Hi,@SHUOH-8693

Yes, ‘send to’ cannot be performed between different web applications.

You can copy files between different web applications by ‘Open With Explorer’ or by SharePoint Designer.

By ‘Open With Explorer’:

By SharePoint Designer:
1. Select the file you want to send from the table of All Files, right click and choose copy.

2.Then go to another site under different web application :File>sites>Open site>enter URL in ‘site name’

3.Now you can paste the file to your destination
