Workstation seems to patch but does not show compliant after reboot. Why?

We deploy patches using Configuration Manager current branch. I have some PCs that appear to have patched successfully. I can see the patch content in their cache and if I look at hardware inventory I can see the KBs listed under "Quick Fix Engineering" (we added that to hardware inventory).

When I look at the deployment status, these computers are listed under "In progress" with a status of "Pending system restart"

Some of these systems have been in this status for a week. I know that some of them have rebooted multiple times since the patches installed.

How can I find out why the status won't update to "Success"?

Hi @Elroy-1144,

We could run the following policy on the side of client to check if the status could be changed to 'Success'.

Besides, we also could restart the client on the side of server according to this screenshot:

If not, it seems that there is communication error between client and management points. Please check CcmMessaging.log on the side of client, where located in Windows\CCM\logs, it records activities related to communication between the client and management points.
