Can't enroll certain users in Intune

Hi,

Strange one!!!

I have around 3-4 users that enrollment process doesn't prompt when we sign in to comp portal.

2 of the users are existing and has a phone enrolled in Intune already, when we try to sign into comp portal on a new phone enrollment steps doesn't prompt but can sign in.

When we sign in with a different user on the same phone that the 2 users are having issues, it works perfectly fine.

User and licensing settings are assigned correctly. Our device restrictions limit is set to 5.

Have you guys come across an issue like this? if yes, please share. :D

@formolim-3709 Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, did you mean that you haven't seen the similar set up page in company portal in the following and sign in directly in a new phone? If there is anything misunderstanding, feel free to let us know.

To clarify this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:
1.Please tell us the phone's OS and version.
2.Please show the screen shots about licenses of the successful user and the failed user.
3. It is suggested to try to re-install the company portal and check if the enrollment process will prompt.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Correct, these 3 users don't get prompted to the setup screen but the can sign in to comp portal.

We have over 1000 users with the same license type that has no issues and we have been doing this for years now.

ENTERPRISE MOBILITY + SECURITY E3 & E5 are assigned to all the users.

User settings are identical to the others - the OS version is 14.6

Comp portal is pushed via VPP.
