@sajithgh,

To make the site appear in Arabic, and the site direction is from right to left, check as following:

  1. Make sure the communication site you use is created with the site default language you want to use, in your case is Arabic.

  2. Change the personal language and region settings via My office profile>Update profile>How can I change language and regional settings? and then select the here link>In the In the Edit Details screen, select the ellipsis (…) and then Language and Region to see the site interface in their preferred language.

Please note the profile changes have been saved, however they may take some time to take effect. Don't worry if you don't see them right away.

@sajithgh,

If the default language is English, after adding arabic language, make sure the arabic language page has been published.

In addition, make the Arabic language as the first in Language Preference for personal language and region settings.

Then wait for a while, refresh the page:

Regional Setting is changed to Arabic. The pages are published in Arabic and Spanish.

Language settings screenshot as follows. Still Translation is not working for Arabic and Spanish.

@sajithgh,

Do you change the personal language and region settings via My office profile>Update profile>How can I change language and regional settings? and then select the here link>In the In the Edit Details screen, select the ellipsis (…) and then Language and Region to see the site interface in their preferred language.

Unable to navgate My office profile>Update profile> from SharePoint Online Portal.

Also please note that individual user will not change their preferences.

@sajithgh,

This is not in SharePoint Online Portal, please refer to:

In addition, per my test, individual user will see the site interface based on their first language preference under multilingual sites.
