App Service Managed Certificates

Hi,

I get this error
"Properties.CanonicalName is invalid. Canonical name ** includes at least one special character. Only letters and numbers are allowed." when I try to create a certificate for a domain name with a hyphen, like "some-domain.com".

I tried with other domain name without that "special" character and it worked.

Why is the hyphen considered a special character?

Thanks,
